The work Ealing by Algernon Newton was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,885.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Admittedly, works by Algernon Newton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Stour, near Sudbury in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,498.10).

Die Arbeit Ealing von Algernon Newton kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.885,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Algernon Newton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Stour, near Sudbury im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 70.498,10).
