The work Il Silenzio È D'Oro by Alighiero Boetti was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 31,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alighiero Boetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutto in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,060,000.00 (€ 5,870,386.52).

Die Arbeit Il Silenzio È D'Oro von Alighiero Boetti kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 31.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alighiero Boetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutto im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.060.000,00 (€ 5.870.386,52).
