Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mettere I Verbi All'Infinito by Alighiero Boetti was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 14,650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alighiero Boetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutto in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,060,000.00 (€ 5,870,386.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mettere I Verbi All'Infinito von Alighiero Boetti wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 14.650,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alighiero Boetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutto im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.060.000,00 (€ 5.870.386,52).
