Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ononimo by Alighiero Boetti was sold in the Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection auction at Sothebys in Milan in April 2008. The price achieved of EUR 36,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alighiero Boetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutto in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,060,000.00 (€ 5,870,386.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ononimo von Alighiero Boetti wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 36.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alighiero Boetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutto im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.060.000,00 (€ 5.870.386,52).
