Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Allen Jones could be acquired at Bonhams in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Online Sale auction, the work Three Ways changed hands for GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,159.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allen Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hatstand, Table And Chair (I) Hatstand (Ii) Table (Iii) Chair in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 2,169,250.00 (€ 2,519,706.86).
