Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Schneefeld, 1945 by Alois Carigiet was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 42,500.00 (€ 36,680.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alois Carigiet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Die Schlittenfahrt. 1973., which sold at auction in December last year for CHF 122,300.00 (€ 123,706.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Schneefeld, 1945 von Alois Carigiet kam im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 42.500,00 (€ 36.680,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alois Carigiet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Die Schlittenfahrt. 1973. beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für CHF 122.300,00 (€ 123.706,14) versteigert wurde.
