Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Sir Ernest Cassel (1852-1921) by Anders Leonard Zorn was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2017. The result of SEK 300,000.00 (€ 31,127.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anders Leonard Zorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 30,000,000.00 (€ 2,926,312.07).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Sir Ernest Cassel (1852-1921) von Anders Leonard Zorn wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 300.000,00 (€ 31.127,86) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anders Leonard Zorn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 30.000.000,00 (€ 2.926.312,07).
