This artwork by André Brasilier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Modern Evening Auction auction, the work Grande chevauchée du lac en automne sold for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 457,029.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,000,000.00.
