Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La brodeuse by André Lhote was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 17,920.00 (€ 20,577.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Lhote achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La danse au bar (Gypsy Bar) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,729,000.00 (€ 1,857,979.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La brodeuse von André Lhote kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.920,00 (€ 20.577,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Lhote erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La danse au bar (Gypsy Bar) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.729.000,00 (€ 1.857.979,30).
