Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Rio della Calcina, Venice by Andrew Fisher Bunner for USD 2,585.00 (€ 2,874.46). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Fisher Bunner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the River, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,770.19).
