Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Children by Ángel Botello was sold in the Modern Art Online auction at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of USD 2,167.50 (€ 1,993.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ángel Botello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Niña durmiendo in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 397,000.00 (€ 270,288.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Children von Ángel Botello wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.167,50 (€ 1.993,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ángel Botello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Niña durmiendo im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 397.000,00 (€ 270.288,67).
