Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Phillips in an online auction held the auction INTERSECT: Online Auction, which included the work Abita Gran Son by Angel Otero. It changed hands for a price of HKD 176,400.00 (€ 19,564.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angel Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figuring You Out in November last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 317,349.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abita Gran Son von Angel Otero zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 176.400,00 (€ 19.564,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angel Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figuring You Out im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 317.349,61).
