Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Going To Church by Grandma Moses was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,800.00 (€ 30,998.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grandma Moses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sugaring Off in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 1,360,000.00 (€ 1,025,563.68).
