In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women, which included the work Interval by Anne Magill. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,760.00 (€ 5,760.00), 65% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anne Magill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Three in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,587.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interval von Anne Magill zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 5.760,00) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anne Magill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Three im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.587,17).
