Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bruges lacemaker by Annie Rose Laing was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in July 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,114.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie Rose Laing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady sewing in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 41,135.49).

Die Arbeit The Bruges lacemaker von Annie Rose Laing wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.114,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Annie Rose Laing erzielen.
