Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Skylight, 1925 by Anton Bruehl for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,492.71). This price was achieved in the auction the deLIGHTed eye: Modernist Masterworks from a Private Collection at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anton Bruehl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stocking ad, 1930s, which sold at auction in April 2019 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,087.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Skylight, 1925 von Anton Bruehl für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.492,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion the deLIGHTed eye: Modernist Masterworks from a Private Collection bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anton Bruehl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stocking ad, 1930s beobachtet, die im April 2019 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.087,49) versteigert wurde.
