Despite a disappointment, a good price for Antonín Procházka
In June 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Czech still Life (Zátiší) by Antonín Procházka for GBP 79,250.00 (€ 87,675.39). This price was achieved in the auction The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Czech still Life (Zátiší) is the most expensive artwork by Antonín Procházka that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Antonín Procházka
Im Juni 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Czech still Life (Zátiší) von Antonín Procházka für GBP 79.250,00 (€ 87.675,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Czech still Life (Zátiší) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Antonín Procházka, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
