Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cabeza Quemada by Antonio Berni was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 55,122.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Berni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Emigrantes in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 554,902.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cabeza Quemada von Antonio Berni wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 55.122,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Berni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Emigrantes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 554.902,25).
