Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Mele e bicchieri (Mele cotogne) by Ardengo Soffici for EUR 15,120.00. This price was achieved in the auction Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 16,000.00 – 24,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ardengo Soffici have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Case di Bulciano in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 89,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mele e bicchieri (Mele cotogne) von Ardengo Soffici für EUR 15.120,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 16.000,00 – 24.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ardengo Soffici auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Case di Bulciano im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 89.000,00.
