Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Agay, ile Besse, soleil couchant by Armand Guillaumin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 41,884.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Armand Guillaumin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chemin À Damiette in March 2014 with an auction result of EUR 325,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Agay, ile Besse, soleil couchant von Armand Guillaumin kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 41.884,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Guillaumin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chemin À Damiette im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 325.500,00.
