In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters, which included the work Valle D'Aosta by Arnaldo Musati. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,448.13), 73% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Arnaldo Musati; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cervinia sold at auction in February last year with the realized price of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,524.34).

Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Valle D'Aosta von Arnaldo Musati zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.448,13) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Arnaldo Musati; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Cervinia im Februar letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.524,34).
