Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 33,600.00 (€ 26,615.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 38,400.00 (€ 57,025.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Crimean coastal Landscape von Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky kam im April 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 33.600,00 (€ 26.615,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 38.400,00 (€ 57.025,20) versteigert wurde.
