Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forest Clearing by Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 44,051.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Mountain Landscape was auctioned for GBP 38,400.00 (€ 57,025.20).

Die Arbeit Forest Clearing von Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 44.051,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
