Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,985.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arthur Chaplin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Floral Still Life in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 180,000.00 (€ 131,771.60).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.985,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Chaplin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Floral Still Life im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 180.000,00 (€ 131.771,60).
