Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Wash Before Bed-Time by Arthur Heyer was sold in the BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in June 2001. The price achieved of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,342.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Heyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A family of cats at play, which sold at auction in February 2001 for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,363.78).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.342,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden.
