Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Curtis StudioImportant Photographs and Ephemera from a Distinguished Private Collection, which included the work Mirror Lake, Mount Rainier National Park; And Native American Gathering 2 by Asahel Curtis. The price achieved of USD 612.00 (€ 516.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Asahel Curtis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mount Rainier; in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,443.62).

Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Curtis StudioImportant Photographs and Ephemera from a Distinguished Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mirror Lake, Mount Rainier National Park; And Native American Gathering 2 von Asahel Curtis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 612,00 (€ 516,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden.
