Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Auguste Borget; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Elegante asiatische Gesellschaft unter Palmengruppe sitzend. 1841. sold at auction in September this year with the realized price of CHF 12,500.00 (€ 12,919.26).
