In September this year Koller held the auction Gemälde des 19. Jahrhunderts, which included the work Abendstimmung am Nil. by Auguste Louis Veillon. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 6,000.00 (€ 6,201.25), 71% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Auguste Louis Veillon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Temple at Philae in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,636.60).

Im September diesen Jahres führte Koller die Auktion Gemälde des 19. Jahrhunderts durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abendstimmung am Nil. von Auguste Louis Veillon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 6.000,00 (€ 6.201,25) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Auguste Louis Veillon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Temple at Philae im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.636,60).
