Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Cavallino Rampante by Augusto Murer for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,388.25). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Augusto Murer have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2002 by the work Cestino con drappeggio at EUR 4,340.00.
