Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet by Bai Qianshen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. The price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,699.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 28,000.00 – 38,000.00. Other works by Bai Qianshen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2020 the work Calligraphic Couplet in Regular Script was auctioned for HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,614.68).

Die Arbeit Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet von Bai Qianshen kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.699,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 28.000,00 – 38.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Bai Qianshen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2020 die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Regular Script für HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.614,68) versteigert.
