The work Untitled #18 by Balcomb Greene was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in New York in August last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,800.30), 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Balcomb Greene have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balanced Moving in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 23,003.31).

Die Arbeit Untitled #18 von Balcomb Greene wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.800,30) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Balcomb Greene auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balanced Moving im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 23.003,31).
