Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art/Turkish, which included the work Ebabil Kusu (A Design For Efes Otel, Izmir) by Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,069.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Öpücük (The Kiss) in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 102,763.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art/Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ebabil Kusu (A Design For Efes Otel, Izmir) von Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.069,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Öpücük (The Kiss) im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 102.763,22).
