Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work A TRAIL THROUGH THE WOODS by Ben Hold for GBP 325.00 (€ 412.92). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ben Hold have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Glorious Twelfth in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,223.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A TRAIL THROUGH THE WOODS von Ben Hold für GBP 325,00 (€ 412,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ben Hold auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Glorious Twelfth im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.223,39).
