Despite a disappointment, a good price for Boris Hoppek
When the work Sans Titre - 2012 by Boris Hoppek was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in April 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,040.00. Despite this disappointing result, Sans Titre - 2012 is the most expensive artwork by Boris Hoppek that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Boris Hoppek
Als die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2012 von Boris Hoppek im April 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.040,00 den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Sans Titre - 2012 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Boris Hoppek, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
