Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings & Contemporary Art, which included the work Dutch jeune Femme by Bram van Velde. The price achieved of EUR 15,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bram van Velde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre (Paris, Rue Gît-Le-Coeur) in May 2012 with an auction result of EUR 444,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch jeune Femme von Bram van Velde zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bram van Velde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre (Paris, Rue Gît-Le-Coeur) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 444.750,00.
