The work Wintertag by Carl Hilgers was auctioned at VAN HAM in May 2016. Here, the estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,515.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Hilgers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Skaters on a frozen lake, with a manor beyond in April 2002 with an auction result of EUR 43,020.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Wintertag von Carl Hilgers kam im Mai 2016 bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.515,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
