The work "Hamnbild från Venedig" (Harbour scene from Venice) by Carl Skånberg was sold in the The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2012. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 36,000.00 (€ 4,109.25), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Skånberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Blommande fruktträd, Barbizon", which sold at auction in November 2009 for SEK 125,000.00 (€ 11,921.44).

Die Arbeit "Hamnbild från Venedig" (Harbour scene from Venice) von Carl Skånberg wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 4.109,25) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Skånberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Blommande fruktträd, Barbizon" beobachtet, die im November 2009 für SEK 125.000,00 (€ 11.921,44) versteigert wurde.
