A top price for Carlito Carvalhosa - as previously expected
The work P 38 by Carlito Carvalhosa was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2019. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,392.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, P 38 is the most expensive artwork by Carlito Carvalhosa that we have observed at auctions so far.
