Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Ghosts # 21 by Carlos Amorales was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,059.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Amorales - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Horny Ghost, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,724.81).
