Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Très Galant by Cesare-Auguste Detti was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,189.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare-Auguste Detti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Musical Interlude in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 306,500.00 (€ 310,191.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Très Galant von Cesare-Auguste Detti kam im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.189,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare-Auguste Detti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Musical Interlude im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 306.500,00 (€ 310.191,28).
