Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work Amore by Cesare Tacchi was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2006, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 10,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at EUR 37,200.00. Admittedly, works by Cesare Tacchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Letto (Pensando A Un Prato..!) in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 183,000.00.
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Amore von Cesare Tacchi im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Mailand versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 10.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 37.200,00 mehr als dreimal so hoch. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Tacchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Letto (Pensando A Un Prato..!) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 183.000,00.
