In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction MARITIME PICTURES, which included the work Panorama of The Fleet Anchorage At Spithead by Charles Augustus Mornewick. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,404.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00.
