Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art: Online, which included the work Vue de Saint-Tropez by Charles Camoin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,811.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Camoin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 266,966.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art: Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue de Saint-Tropez von Charles Camoin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.811,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Camoin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.966,00.
