In February 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Le Repos by Charles Kvapil. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,933.00 64% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charles Kvapil; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nu Au Miroir - 1927 sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of EUR 7,250.00.

Im Februar 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Repos von Charles Kvapil zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.933,00 und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Charles Kvapil; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Nu Au Miroir - 1927 im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 7.250,00.
