Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Végétation marine by Charles Lapicque. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Lapicque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'un Tigre in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 325,638.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Végétation marine von Charles Lapicque zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Lapicque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'un Tigre im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 325.638,59).
