This artwork by Chen Banding achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flwoers sold for HKD 264,000.00 (€ 31,925.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Banding have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sceneries Of Mount Huang in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,300,000.00 (€ 270,662.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Banding erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flwoers für HKD 264.000,00 (€ 31.925,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Banding auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sceneries Of Mount Huang im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.300.000,00 (€ 270.662,29).
