The work Tranquil Mountain Abode by Chen Huan was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2014. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,868.23), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chen Huan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Talking In The Mountain in April this year with an auction result of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 116,416.30).

Die Arbeit Tranquil Mountain Abode von Chen Huan wurde im September 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.868,23) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Huan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Talking In The Mountain im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 116.416,30).
