Description
From the Shum Family Collection 岑氏（1888-1970）舊藏中國書畫 LOTS 101-106 岑氏乃現藏家祖父。廣東順德人。早年於香港基督青年會修讀化學，精通粵、中、英三語。一九〇六年南下馬來西亞，進入橡膠園行業，數年內經營橡膠園達兩百公頃。一九二一年創立大馬首個集成橡膠廠，至今仍由其家族經營。 岑氏性耽藝術，喜收藏，大馬收藏家吳朝樞乃岑太内侄兼生意助手。在吳朝樞介紹下，岑氏廣交文人雅士，並獲寫贈，部分佳藏於邦瀚斯二〇一九、二〇二〇、二〇二二年拍賣陸續釋出。

Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Chen Lifu. The price achieved of HKD 6,375.00 (€ 749.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Lifu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Chen Lifu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.375,00 (€ 749,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Lifu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22).
