Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No. 437 by Chu Teh-Chun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 335,154.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
