Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Resurrection by Ciro Ferri was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2004. The price achieved of USD 26,290.00 (€ 21,113.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ciro Ferri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Virgin Immaculate blessed by God the Father in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,745.30).
